With Supreme teasing their SS19 collection today, it’s safe to assume their many forthcoming collaborations will be inching their way into the spotlight. Though it may be a while before we’re able to get our hands on this season’s pairs, their newest annual edition to the Nike partnership is unveiling itself to be a diverse array of retro schemes. Taking to the Air Max Tailwind 4 with their signature design, the newest colorway is a bold contrast to the Black pair seen just a few weeks ago, opting for the streetwear brand’s classic pairing of colors: red and white. Subverting what is usually custom, the once maximalist branding is toned down significantly for a small “Supreme” hit along the lace loop. Underlays poke through to glimpses of a stark white while the overarching panels and overstated toe cap define an imposing silhouette. More images are sure to arise in the coming months, though in the meantime, enjoy a sneak peek below and stay tuned for more information as it surfaces.
