Nike’s newest poster boy, the Air Max 720, continues to tote its enlarged air bubbles alongside an equally massive set of inspired color stories, tackling both Northern Lights and futuristic aesthetics alike. Toned down just a tad, the newest to enter the mix is a pairing of teals and purples, using vibrant hues next to neutral white uppers in an execution not too far off from the classic Jordan 5 “Grape.” Though certainly not hitting the courts anytime soon, the cushioned classic features its bright cool tone in the translucence of its bottom, with laces as well as accents on the forefoot and heel matching in hue. Purple lacestays as well as the matching overlaid constructions fit atop the many molds of the bleach white foundation, breaking up a mostly minimal make-up. Feast your eyes on this forthcoming set piece below and find them rolling out to select retailers and Nike.com very soon.
